Summary

A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself.

A prince in danger must decide who to trust.

A boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings.

Together, they must assassinate the king and stop the war.

In a centuries-long war where beauty and brutality meet, their three paths entwine in a shadowy world of spilled blood and mysterious saints, where a forbidden romance threatens to tip the scales between dark and light. Wicked Saints is the thrilling start to Emily A. Duncan’s devastatingly Gothic Something Dark and Holy trilogy

Review

I'm going to keep this really short. I wanted to love this book, I did enjoy it but it wasn't everything I expected it to be. It's recommended for fans of Bardugo and I just felt that with that expectation I was really going to love it. It has also been hard to even write a review because in all honesty I barely even know what happened in the book after the first 1/4. I started really enjoying it and then I just got really bored right after. The ending wasn't really a climax for me either. I'm thinking I might need a re-read and see if I can enjoy it more when I'm not working and going to school all the time.
